Destination Procrastination

procrastination poster 74A single click will instantly download this full color handout on procrastination. It's the handout version of Poster #074 (click to view this as a poster). It's a great free teacher resource, and counselors, you may like it too.

If you work with younger students, you can define "procrastination" as "putting off".

To preface a discussion of this handout, you might want to tell your youngsters a personal story about a time you procrastinated– and the consequences that resulted. For example, vividly capture the sights and smells that you encountered when you put off using up that open can of tuna fish.

After the story, students will be much more receptive to information from you because they will perceive you as being just like them, that you sometimes share their difficulties performing tasks promptly.
