Ask students to name one job that they could have that doesn't require reading.  They won't be able to come up with one.  And there's good reason for that.  As our reading poster shows, if students want a good job, they'll need to be literate, and the best place to learn that is in school.

When kids drop out or give up, they deprive themselves of the chance to learn skills and gain knowledge that they'll need for the rest of their lives fo both their career and running their household. Poster #136 can turn that around.
