Youth Change Professional Development Workshops works with two Washington university partners to offer official Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) Washington State Teacher Clock Hours to K-12 teachers for our live, online and on-site courses.
How can I earn Washington State Teacher Clock Hours?
There are three ways that Youth Change Workshops can help you earn your Washington State OSPI hours: live workshops, online video workshop and on-site inservice trainings. That means that Washington teachers can earn official clock hours in our live workshop, or via on-site professional development training, or from our online teacher training class, the Breakthrough Strategies to Teach and Counsel Troubled Youth Online Workshop.
What work do I have to do to earn Washington State Teacher Clock Hours?
You must attend or view the training workshop. For live courses– whether general session workshops or on-site training held at a school, agency or conference, you simply attend the class and sign up for Washington State Teacher Clock Hours upon arrival. For our online course, you must view the video of the course and take three minute pre- and post-tests, which you submit to us. You also will need to request, complete and submit to us the forms needed to register you for Washington State Teacher Clock Hours. There is no homework or testing beyond these requirements. For online courses, the charge for 10 Washington State Teacher Clock Hours is $25. You will receive directions on how to sign up at the time that you purchase the online Breakthrough Strategies course and are given immediate access to it.
